This timeless beach with tidal pool, children’s rides and amusement arcades offer traditional seaside fun and entertainment. Even if the tide is in there is still plenty of beach to make sandcastles. Restaurants, bars and seafood stalls are just a short walk away in the Old Town. Dreamland Amusement Park, echoes with the sounds of delight as visitors young and old enjoy this great British seaside experience.
In Margate you’ll discover a shell grotto, a Tudor House, a wealth of amazing history at the town's museum, unique theatres, plus indoor and outdoor adventure golf. Tour Turner Contemporary - an acclaimed international art gallery that celebrates JMW Turner's association with the town.
Newer additions not to miss include the reopened Margate Caves, where you can discover their intriguing history, including an iron age skeleton and a visionary school mistress. Delve into all things decapod at the totally clawesome Crab Museum.
