Thursday 5 August

Today we visit to Waterperry Gardens. Made famous by Beatrix Havergal who established her School of Horticulture for Ladies here from 1932 to 1971, it's now home to 8 acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens, a quality plant centre and garden shop, gallery and gift barn, museum and teashop. We arrive at the 4* Hilton Puckrup Hotel in time for dinner.

Friday 6 August

This morning we visit the town of Cirencester before travelling to Highgrove Gardens. Where we enjoy a 2 hour guided tour.

Guided tour of Highgrove Gardens
HRH The Prince of Wales has spent 30 years transforming the grounds of Highgrove into what have been acknowledged as some of the most inspired and innovative gardens in the United Kingdom.
His Royal Highness's strict adherence to organic and sustainable methods has helped create gardens which are both magical and intriguing while being environmentally sound; encouraging both plants and wildlife to thrive.

The garden tour lasts approximately two hours and is a walk of about 2 miles. All garden tours are led by one of His Royal Highness's garden guides. Visitors with walking difficulties should be aware that some paths are unmade. We suggest you wear stout shoes and suitable clothing as the tours continue during wet weather.

Security Information
All visitors must bring some form of photographic identification with them - ideally a passport, driving licence or bus pass (alternatively two utility bills). Visitors will not be admitted without an identification document.

Mobile phones, photography, binoculars and any form of recording equipment are strictly prohibited. Should a visitor need to use a telephone please speak to a member of staff.
